Tips for customizing your own prize wheel

Accepted Answer

The prize wheel is customizable. The wheel board is made of acrylic which can be written on and dry erase, allowing you to customize your wheel with a logo or specific text. Water-based markers or pens are recommended for acrylic boards for easier maintenance. If you use oil-based markers or pens, it will be more difficult to clean the board. You can also stick or insert any logo, banner, or content on or into the cover to make your brand stand out. Tape is also easily removed from acrylic. If you want to get a larger slot for different probabilities, you can remove individual pegs. Kindly be noticed that the color slots are not removable or changeable. You can customize the speed and the time manually. If you spin it hard, it will spin faster and longer. if you spin it lightly, it will spin slower and shorter. It features a rolling bearing for faster spinning and more cycles each time. You cannot rig the result since it spins and lands freely, making your game more exciting. It's ideal for tradeshows, promotion activities, carnivals, annual meetings, holiday activities, parties and more.

When receiving your package, inspect and ensure that all package contents are included. Contact us if any parts are missing and we will arrange for a replacement to be sent to you as soon as possible.
We currently have a Pegs & Red Pointer Replacement Kit and a Set of 10 Replacement Pointers Kit for sale. The Pegs & Red Pointer Replacement Kit is for the Spin wheel in all size, including 12", 15", 18", 24", 30" and 36". The package includes: 2x Pointers, 20x Pegs, 20x Nuts. The SKU# is YES1328. The Set of 10 Replacement Pointers Kit is designed for WinSpin prize wheel (Applicable WinSpin models: WIN001). The SKU# is YES2160. Please feel free to contact us if you want to purchase.

Can we add more pegs to Winspin Prize Wheel to make more slots?

We understand that sometimes you need more slots to fit all the prizes in your giveaway. However, our prize wheels have a fixed number of holes for the pegs to go through. If you want to add more pegs, you may need to drill holes on the prize wheel's board and the clear acrylic top plate. Doing this can damage or destroy the board or the acrylic plate, and it will not be covered by our warranty. Therefore, we do not recommend drilling holes in the prize wheel to add more slots. If you need a prize wheel with more slots, you can order our Winspin 24" 18 Slot Tabletop Prize Wheel or Winspin 24" 18 Slot Dual-Use prize wheel, these 2 prize wheels have 18 slots.

12'' /15'' Winspin prize wheel: If you have a very small space, you should consider these 2 sizes. Teachers often use these sizes in the classroom because they take up less room. If you are really limited on space and even a table top or free standing unit won't work , we also have a 12'' wall mounted version: WinSpin 12" Tabletop & Wall Mounted Prize Wheel
18'' Winspin prize wheel: This is great for a small store promotion, such as a florist, salon, etc.
24'' Winspin prize wheel: Most people buy this for their business events because this size is neither too big nor too small, and it is easy to transport to offsite business events and promotions. We have a dual-use prize wheel that can be used on a table or on the floor.
36'' Winspin prize wheel: This size is perfect for grabbing attention and drawing in a crowd. While not as easy to transport, the increase in foot traffic is worth the effort. It is perfect for trade shows and other business events where you would like to get more customer interaction. Can the 'clicker' mechanism of the Winspin Prize wheel be silenced in any way?

To answer this, it is important to understand how the prize wheel makes the clicking sound. There are pegs installed on the prize wheel and when it is spun, the red pointer will hit the pegs, making the clicking sound. If the location you are using the prize wheel has rules against making noise, you can remove the red pointer. Please note that the point is also designed to add resistance to the spinning wheel, to reduce the spin time, so removing it will make the wheel spin longer.

Can I do writting and erasing on the WinSpin Prize Wheel?

Yes we have a water-based mark pen included in each prize wheel, so you can use it to write on the top plate of the prize wheel. The top plate is finished with acrylic boards for easier maintenance of writting and erasing. After writting, it is convenient and easy to erase contents with attached eraser according to your needs. If the pen runs out, please replace it with another water-base mark pen instead of other mark pens to avoid leaving unremoveable marks on the plate. If by any chance the mark is not coming off, you can try to wipe it with a small amount of alcohol.

Do you have a wall mounted prize wheel?

Yes, we have 2 different types of wall mounted prize wheels available. They are different sizes and are mounted in different ways.
The first type we offer is WinSpin 12" Tabletop & Wall Mounted Prize Wheel. If you have a table and you need to move it frequently for different events, you can set it up as a tabletop prize wheel. And if you have limited space and want permanently mount it, you can just use the included hardware to mount it on the wall. Below are mounting instructions.
The second type we offer is WinSpin 15" 12-Slot DIY Wall Mounted Prize Wheel. It has removable slot cards in different colors (3 colors available: black, blue, and red) and you can change the placement of the slot cards to customize it. Unlike our 12'' wall mounted prize wheel, this 15'' wall mounted prize wheel uses 2 suction cups to attach to the wall, meaning you do not have to drill into your wall.

Will this be blown down if there is a bit of wind?

No, the prize wheel net weight is 2.54 Lbs (1.15 kg). If you are afraid that it will blown down, we recommend that you put some weight on the base.
