Dance Pole Troubleshooting: The connecting pole can not be connected to the bottom base

There may be two reasons for this problem:
1. The hexagon socket head screw is not fully screwed into the pipe, resulting in jamming.
Solution: Please try to screw the screw into the pipe again and try to install again.
2. Check the surface of the Connecting Pole and the inside of the Cover for any burrs that cause the installation to be unsmooth.
Solution: After finding the burr, use a file to remove the burr, and then try to install.
If you have tried the above two methods and it still doesn't work, please take a video of the installation and send it to us for analysis.

How to make sure your dance pole is installed correctly and used safely

To make sure your dance pole is installed correctly and used safely, please confirm the following points:
1. The poles are screwed together correctly (make sure the threads between the pipe fittings are properly engaged).
2. The black adjustment lever is correctly locked.
3. All the poles are completely vertical to the ceiling and bottom.
4. Please check whether there is any abnormal noise when the product rotates.

Can I install Yescom spinning static dance pole on a vaulted ceiling?

Our Spinning Static Removable Dance Pole can only be used on a vaulted ceiling if a vaulted ceiling mount is purchased.
We do not sell the vaulted ceiling mount separately. Vaulted Ceiling Mount requires to be compatible with a 45mm diameter pole.

What kind of ceiling is suitable for installing dancing poles?

The ceiling where the dance pole is installed must be solid, preferably cement. It should not be used with a drop ceiling, sloped ceiling, or soft wood ceiling. If you do not have a solid ceiling, we highly recommended locating a joist or beam to install the upper dome against, since it will be the most stable.
Our dance pole has a spinning and static function. The height is easily adjustable and only takes minutes to set up or take down. You can take it to your pole dancing classes, your friend's house, or just spice up a party at home. Use this hot exercise to get into shape and build an amazing body.

Safety Instructions of dancing poles

Safety Instructions
1. Never use oil and/or lotion on your hands or body before using the dance pole. The oil and/or lotion will transfer onto the pole and make it slippery and hard to grip, which can serious bodily injury.
2. The dance pole should not be installed under false or suspended ceilings that are not sturdy.
3. The product can be used on carpet, but the thickness of the carpet should be less than 1 cm.

Does popcorn ceiling affect the safety of the dancing poles?

It is not recommended to install the dance poles on popcorn ceiling. The surface of popcorn ceiling is uneven, which is not as safe as a smooth ceiling, since the rubber on the upper dome cannot grip it. Popcorn ceiling is also a loose material, so the upper dome might slip and the pole could fall, causing injuries.

Is the dancing pole compatible with any vaulted ceiling mounts?

It is not recommended to install the dance poles on vaulted ceiling. It is critical that the top base is flat against the ceiling, the top base of vaulted ceiling is not flat. If the top base is not flat, the plate could rotate, and slip or damage the ceiling. Also, the ceiling where the dance pole is installed must be made of solid cement. Never install the dance pole on hollow ceiling, which is not stable or secure hence causes risk of bodily injuries.

These dancing poles have a spinning and static function, which can be adjusted with 2 extension poles to fit different ceiling heights, and adjust the screw nuts on bottom base to achieve the spinning or the static status. It is made of sturdy steel for load up to 1102 lbs (500 kg) vertically and 617 lbs (280 kg) horizontally; ideal for exercise and stage performance at home, stage, club and more.

Dancing Pole: Poles are stuck./ Dancing pole can not be uninstalled.

Handy Tip: For uninstalltion, please used attached tools (Iron Rods) for assistance. Do not use hands only cause force is not strong enough to separate connections.
1. Please give a gentle knock on the connection with a hammer (or other heavy tools) helps to loosen it up first. It might be easier to have someone to unscrew poles when you tap it.
2. Please drop rust remover (WD-40) on joints where poles are stuck, give them a few minutes to work then try to unscrew poles.
3. Please put lubrication oil (or edible oil) on joints where poles are stuck, give them a few minutes to work then try to unscrew poles.

Dancing pole: Pole can not be completely/ smoothly screwed.

1. Please align threads and keep poles straight first, then gently screw poles until tightening.
2. If poles can not be screwed further, please stop screwing and do not try to get over by screwing them harder.
3. Check if there is rust or defectiveness on threads. If not, please put a little lubrication oil on it then try step 1 again. If so, please contact customer service for further assistance.

Dancing pole: Spinning/ Static mode does not work properly.

1. Please make sure that 1 of 2 screw holes on the connecting pole aligns the "Y" logo on the bottom base while tightening the 2 screws. Only in this way can the dancing pole remains static mode. Completely loosening 2 screws on connecting pole switches dancing pole into spinning mode.
2. Static mode: If 2 screws have been tightened and 1 of 2 screw holes has aligned the "Y" logo on the bottom base but the dancing pole would still keep spinning, please check which sections remains static and which sections do not, tighten those sections that remain spinning with other sections and bases. Please also remember to tighten the iron ring on the adjuster pole.
3. Spinning mode: If 2 screws on the connecting pole have been completely loosened but the dancing pole would still remain static, please check whether any blockage in bases and sections affects dancing pole being spun.
4. If you have tried everything but it still does not work, please contact our customer support and provide us with pictures or videos of the entire dancing pole and its installation for further assistance.

How to make dancing pole less slippery?

The smooth surface is the characteristic of the our dancing pole, if it is rough, it is easy to scratch the skin. Here are some things you might find useful for your slippery pole:
1. Heat the dancing pole up
The dance pole is very slippery in cold weather. At this time, you can wipe it with a hot towel, or turn on the heating in the room to heat the dance pole. Some people even use a hair dryer to heat the dance pole. This is also a good way. You just need to ensure that the dance pole is heated from top to bottom.
2. Try out some magnesium carbonate powder
Magnesium carbonate powder is specially used for sports. You can use it to increase friction.

What is pin size to make the dancing pole stationary?
