This tent is not designed to be left up for long periods and can't handle the same kind of abuse as regular gazebos. Please be sure all equipment is secured when not in use and protected from weather. Tents are temporary structures designed to handle most normal weather conditions, however, there may be situations that cause it to become unsafe such as high winds or lightning. Evacuation of the tent tents is recommended in these or other unsafe conditions. We cannot be liable for poor weather conditions or naturally occurring conditions.
Shipping Disclaimer: Due to the size and weight of this product, it may be shipped in multiple packages. Packages may be delivered separately by the carrier.
1. Drive metal stakes into the ground 6 ft (1.8 m) away from each pole of the tent. Use a hammer or mallet to pound stakes into the ground. Leave 3 to 4 in (7.6 to 10.2 cm) of the pins above the ground so you can easily tie the anchor ropes to them.
2. Make clove hitch knots with braided rope. Make 2 loops near the end of the rope so that the end of the left loop is on top of the rope and the end of the right loop is below the rope. Place the right loop over the left loop so they line up. Set the loops over the stake and pull each side of the rope to firmly tighten it.
A clove hitch allows you to adjust the length of the rope easily without undoing the entire knot. Make knots at each of the stakes so the whole tent is secured.
3. Tie the ends of the ropes to the frame of the tent. Sometimes, the frame will have an anchor to tie the rope to. If not, tie it directly to the horizontal frame at the top of the canopy right next to the support pole.
4. Tie the excess rope around the taut rope close to the stake. Loop the loose end of the rope around the rope pulled taut, making sure the end of the rope goes through the loop. Pull it tight so the excess is taut against the anchor rope.
Please try applying laundry detergent to the fabric, and then scrub it after a period of time to see if it can be removed.
Extreme weather can neither be predicted nor controlled. But you can be prepared. Weatherproofing your canopy can increase its lifespan and reduce the effects the weather can have. Here are a few tips to use during inclement weather that can help your next event go smoothly and help you have peace of mind.
Outdoor event tents are extremely popular during the summer, when it can get very hot. Keep the interior cool with these tips and tricks.
#1: ADD DETACHABLE OR ROLL-UP WALLS TO POP-UP TENTS
These can be removed or rolled-up to increase the airflow. Make sure to roll up at least two walls to allow cross-ventilation.
#2: KEEP A COOLING SYSTEM IN PLACE
Use a fan and/or an AC unit inside the tent. Regardless of how hot it gets outside your guests will be relaxed and cool inside.
#3: FACTOR IN THE TENT LAYOUT
Arrange your seating to everyone can enjoy the breeze. Set up shade umbrellas near the entrance and install portable blowers to circulate cool air. Keep your tent windows facing the north and south, so that the evening sun doesn't heat up the inside of the tent.
You may be expecting clear skies and pleasant weather at your event, but it can quickly change to rain and thunderstorms. Here are some options for when the clouds roll in.
#4: ONLY BUY WATERPROOF, HEAVY-DUTY TENTS
A waterproof canopy will prevent water from seeping inside and soaking everything and everyone, while a strong framework will withstand high winds.
#5: ENSURE THAT THE FLOOR IS STURDY
If possible, have a raised flooring area. This will allow the water to drain and will keep your guests from slipping. If you are unable to have raised flooring, a waterproof, non-slip mat will work.
#6: DON'T FORGET UMBRELLAS AND RAINCOATS
You'll want to have umbrellas on hand to shelter your guests if they are not able to be under the canopy. You should also create a separate space to keep wet raincoats and umbrellas so they don't trail water everywhere.
Strong winds can lift outdoor wedding tents and pop-up tents, and cause them to collapse ' there's a high possibility that they'll injure someone or damage nearby property.
#7: ANCHOR YOUR TENT TO SECURE IT IN PLACE
Stakes are affordable and lightweight. They provide an excellent anchor on grass or sand, and work most effectively when combined with ropes and ratchets. For all other surfaces, you can use water weights, metal weights, sandbags, and/or buckets.
#8: ALLOW MAXIMUM AIRFLOW
If it is very windy, consider removing the sidewalls or even the top, so the wind does not blow over the canopy. In severe wind conditions, the tent should be taken down.
If you don't plan to use your canopy during winter, here are 3 tips to store you canopy properly so that when spring rolls around, you'll be ready.
#1: REMOVE THE TOP FROM THE FRAME
The first thing you'll want to do is remove the canopy top. Fold the bag as best you can, as opposed to simply stuffing it in the bag. When stored properly, you can avoid having to replace or repair the top.
#2: DRY OUT THE TOP
Before folding for storage, be sure the canopy top is completely dry. Just as you would not put wet clothes in your drawer, you wouldn't want to put a wet canopy top in the bag. Storing a wet canopy top can cause it to grow mold and deteriorate, so be sure to air dry it if needed.
#3: KEEP IT IN ITS PROVIDED BAG
Storing the frame and top in the included carry bag will not only keep the frame and canopy top clean, they will protect it from dust mites, scrapes, and scratches while it is being stored.
Staking your favorite canopy tent on grass is an easy task. But if you need to set your tent up on concrete, you'll have to figure out how to hold it down so the canopy doesn't blow away. Fortunately, there are multiple options to weigh your tent down on concrete.
#1: Buy tent weight bags for an easy option.
There are tent weight bags manufactured and marketed specifically for canopy tents. Usually, you must fill them with sand and then attach them to the frame and legs of your tent. These can be more expensive than homemade options, but they will save you time.
*Be sure that the weight of the full tent weight bags meets your event's weight requirement, if you are using your tent at a public event. Check the tent weight packaging to see how much the weights weigh when they're full and be sure to follow all directions.
#2: Try cinder blocks as tent weights.
A typical cinder block weighs about 28 pounds (13 kg) and can be useful as a tent weight. Tie a rope around the cinder block and knot the rope at the top corner of your tent frame. You can also tie the cinder block to the tent leg using rope or bungee cord, and then attach the rope to the top frame.
*Some public events do not allow cinder blocks to be used as tent weights, as they can be a tripping hazard, so check with your event coordinator before using them.
*Cinder blocks can be a convenient method of weighing down your tents at home. Consider covering them with old towels or sheets so people don't scrape themselves if they bump into them.
#3: Use exercise weights to cut costs.
If you have exercise weights at home, you can also use these as weights for your tent. Stack a few of your choice by your tent leg, lining up the holes. Thread rope through the holes, tie a knot around the weights, then another knot at the top of your tent frame to attach the weights to it.
*If you are using your tent at a public event, check with your event coordinator before using exercise weights as tent weights.
In most cases, the answer will vary depending on the circumstances. The usual set-up time of a tent is somewhere between 10-20 minutes. However, it does depend on several factors such as the size of the tent, how used you are to setting the tent up, the type of the tent, and the weather conditions. Depending on these factors, the set-up time could be more than 20 minutes.
For example, if you are the only person setting up a tent that is particularly large, it might take more than 20 minutes for you to do so. However, if you are setting up a smaller tent and there are at least three of you working on it, you might need less than 10 minutes to set the entire thing up. All that considered, setting a tent up will most likely require 10-20 minutes of your time.
While there are a variety of factors you need to consider when you set up a tent, if you are aware of these factors, you will be able to cut down the setup time.
There are hook & loop straps on the inside edges of the canopy for you to easily attach the sidewalls.
We also have a variety of sidewalls to choose from our webpage. They come in different colors, sizes and features, and various combinations bring you a wealth of choices to meet your different scene needs.

It is not recommended to use a heater inside the tent, as it is a safety hazard.
Yes, but it cannot be fixed to the ground with the included stakes. You would need to use sandbags, which we do sell separately.
We assume that the canopy was not connected well, so that the pole went through the canopy, causing the canopy to rip. We recommend installing the item following the instructions and making sure the position of canopy is not offset.

The frame of the tent is made of steel, while the fabric we used for the canopy is an oxford fabric coated in plastic so that the canopy is water proofed.
First and foremost, please be aware that these canopies are not meant to be used as long term structures, but as temporary shelters. Keep the canopy in its bag once you are done using it. This will protect the fabric from being exposed to the sunlight for too long, which may reduce the durability of the canopy. To store your canopy after use, it is recommended to open the bag and lift the bottom of the frame into one end of the bag first, then slowly arrange it, and finally put the whole frame in. Should any touch up be required (to protect the frame from rust), a general spray paint will be sufficient. If you find that the joints of the canopy are stuck or appear to be harder to open compared to before, try using lubricants instead of exerting force, as that may cause damage to the frame. If the canopy is dirty, depending on the contaminant, you can try washing it off like other fabric material. Put the tent away in case of inclement weather, especially when it is raining heavily, there are strong winds, or there is an electrical storm. This will ensure your safety, as well as extending the life of the canopy. Should you need more tips on maintenance, feel free to connect with our customer service team and we will be happy to serve you.
The canopies are waterproof and UV resistant, making them a good addition to any outdoor activity, such as: outdoor dining, picnics, barbeques, fundraisers, swap meets, carwashes, etc. Our pop-up canopy is easy to set up and it only takes one person and approximately 15 minutes to set up if you follow the manual instructions correctly.
Each style of bag is different and include different accessories. The best way to confirm if the bag you are interested in has a carry bag is to go to the "Specs" section of the listing and see if the carry bag is included. I will be under the "Also in the Box" section. It is also important to note that some of the bags come with wheels, while others do not. We also offer the wheeled carry bags available for purchase separately. If you're interested, we have included the link back to our carry bags in different sizes below: Canopy Storage Bag with Wheels for 10x10/10x15/10x20 If you also need other accessories such as sidewalls, please feel free to search on our website with "tent wall" as your search keyword. We recommend tying the legs of the tent with rope and/or using stakes to fix it to the ground. Please feel free to search on our website for "4 pcs weight sand bag"
We do not recommend using a heater in the tent, as it is a safety hazard.
As for lamps, it may generate a lot of heat, which would be a safety hazard. If it must be used, we recommend hanging the lamp in the middle of the iron frame, a little farther away from the tent cloth. Try not to use it for a long time, we recommend turning it off for a few minutes for the lamp to cool down. You could also try a low heat emission lamp, such as an LED lamp.
It is impossible to attach two canopies together to make one 20x40 because the structure of the frame does not come in separate poles but is a complete unit.
Yes, the tent is adjustable in different height levels. Different models have different height adjustments, the listing will have the specifications for each model. The length is not adjustable.

If you have noticed a minor tear or rip in your canopy, you may be able to repair it without having to purchase a replacement.
Make sure to cut away any loose threads from the tear and clean the area. You can then apply a suitable patch, seam grip, or sew a patch of material over the rip. Please make sure to test the repair thoroughly before putting the canopy back up. This will let you know whether or not a replacement is necessary.
Top Tip: Be aware that tears and holes are often the results of transporting the canopy while it's still attached to the metal frame. We strongly recommend always removing the material before transporting a Pop-up canopy. It only takes minutes to reassemble and will save you time and money on future repairs!
