1. Fabric Care:
For lighter colored umbrellas, one of the best ways to keep your umbrella fabric in like-new condition is to remove the stains on a monthly basis. If the fabric gets dirty, wipe it off with a towel or a soft bristle brush. It is not recommended to soak the fabric.
For darker colored umbrellas, it is better to use an additional protective spray so it will not fade quickly.
2. Frame/pole Care:
Open or close it gently, do not too be too forceful. For the metal umbrellas that use the hand crank, if it gets stuck, slowly turn the crank clockwise and counterclockwise to ensure it turns smoothly. We also recommend periodically checking whether the pull rope near the top of the umbrella pole is knotted, whether the pulley rotates normally, and whether the pull rope is in the middle of the pulley.
A wooden or metal pole is not designed to be used inside a pool, but can be used near a pool.
If there is an accumulation of mold between the wooden umbrella frame, you can follow the below steps to remove it: (1). Add a teaspoon of soap to a spray bottle filled with water and shake it up. 3. Pole size:
Smaller umbrellas have thinner pole diameters, typically from 1 3/8 inches to 1 1/2 inches. The average size of an umbrella pole is usually 1.5 inches in diameter. Larger umbrellas, such as 11- and 13-foot canopies, have larger pole diameters, from 1 1/2 inches to 2.5 inches in diameter.Before purchasing, it makes sense to know the diameter of your umbrella pole and the circumference of the umbrella canopy.
