We do have different colors for the awnings, the SAND option is YES5059, YES5061, YES5058; and the GRAY gray is YES5060, YES5062. There are 3 sizes available, 4.6'x6.6', 6.6'x8.2', 7.6'x8.2'. You can choose the exact awning size according to your car and desired shade dimension. It is made of 420D oxford fabric with a 2000mm PU coating, has UV50+ protection and is water resistant. The carry bag is waterproof as well, providing you reliable products and enjoyable trip.

The awning could be installed on any vehicle with roof rack bars, however, the recommended vehicle types are SUV, or Off-road vehicles. As for the roof rack bar types, there should be a gap between the bars and the roof. This is absolutely necessary, so please confirm that your roof rack is compatible before purchasing. If you want to install the awning on the rear, it's recommended that the car height be more 6.6 ft, with the ideal rear width around 3.3ft.
We offer 3 awning sizes, which offer between 30-62 sq. ft of sun, rain, and weather protection. This side awning is only functional when it has a secure and stable anchoring point, so we advise not trying to attach it to tents, easy up canopies, or other similar structures.
It is easy to install & remove from your vehicle. Should you not want it on for day-to-day use, by undoing the roof rack screws you can remove the awning and carry bag. The canopy has telescoping poles with a twist-lock design, which quickly extend and collapse, providing quick and simple set-up and tear-down.

The manual can be found on the specifications (Specs) section of our non-LED light car side awning listings. It is a clickable link in the "Also in the box" section.
You can install the item on the side or rear of the car. The awning is installed using L brackets, with the dimensions: L180 x W25x H70mm (L7.08 in. x W1 in. x H2.75 in.). If it is installed on the side, please make sure that it's a little longer than the car height, but shorter than the whole car length.
If it's installed on the rear, please make sure that it's shorter than the rear width. To install, use 2 pairs of the bracket kits on the roof rack bar of your car with the long screws and nuts. These kits are included with the order.
To avoiding water entering the bag, please ensure the zipper is facing down when installing. To set up, unfold the 2 supporting poles. Extend them to the desired length and rotate the bottom section clockwise to tighten. An easy-to-understand manual is included with the product. You can easily remove it if you do not want to drive with it on your car. The telescoping poles have a twist-lock design, which quickly extend and collapse, providing quick and simple set-up and tear-down.

While the car side awning is designed to be water resistant, it is not waterproof. We do not recommend using the item in severe weather, as it can be damaged. When mounted properly on your car, it will be secure while driving at normal road and highway speeds. Similar to the awning itself, the bag is water resistant, though not completely waterproof.

The size of the awning when it is folded is 202 x 15 x 14cm (79.5 x 6 x 5.5 in.). The size after opening the awning is W200cm x L250cm (W 78.7 in. x 98.4 in.), the adjustable height is 150--216cm (59-85 in.), and the length of the hardware is 4cm (1.5 in.).
If it is installed on the car side, please make sure that it's a little longer than the car height, but shorter than the whole car length. Our awning is easy to install & remove. The awning is not self retracting, you would need to manually fold it. The awning should be fully extended, otherwise it will not be tight.

The Aluminum tubing is 22/25 mm in diameter, with a 1 mm thickness. We do not have a definite estimate on the time that the bag will last, as it is dependent on the weather conditions, how long it is exposed to the weather, how it is maintained, etc.

There are several types of roof top.
1. Naked/bare roof: A vehicle with a naked roof (or bare roof) would not have tracks or rails. Bare roof racks are used on all types of vehicles: cars, CUVs, SUVs, vans and Pickup Trucks.
2. Raised Side Rails: Raised roof rails run from the front to the back of the roof and there is a gap between the roof and the rail. Raised roof rails are found mainly on CUVs and SUVs.
3. Flush Rails: Flush rails run from front to back on your vehicle and are flush to the rood without any space between the rail and the roof. There is typically a inner and/or outer groove that allows connection of a crossbar.
4. Fixed connection points: Fixed points are factory threaded fasted down points that are typically located on the outer edge of the roof at toe points on each side. The connection points are located under a roof trim piece, a removable panel or flip up panel.
5. Tracks: Tracks are long grooved channels that run along the sides of vehicle roof from front to back.
6. Factory crossbars: These are two bars/slats that run across the vehicle roof from driver's side to passenger side.
7. Rain Gutters: A metal ridge, exists on some late model vehicle's but typically are found on full sized cargo and passenger vans.
